The head at the top of this page. A public-domain scan of a plaster Helios, 2,003,100 triangles, reduced offline to 90,000 surface points with baked occlusion. Every frame it is rotated, splatted into a z‑buffer whose resolution is the dot grid, and ordered-dithered into two matched hue ramps. Then it gets sliced, offset, and the colours flip across the cuts. No WebGL, no mesh at runtime, 630 KB on the wire.
